Welcome to Version 1.0 of the Electronic Climate Atlas of Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Climatological Survey's Electronic Climate Atlas is designed to help Oklahoma's citizens, decision-makers and students make informed weather- and climate-related assessments and decisions.

Much of the historical data in this atlas was derived from the National Weather Service's Cooperative Observer Network. Unless otherwise noted, climatological normals are those published by the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, NC. Many other products in this document were compiled using data from the Oklahoma Mesonet, a joint product of Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.

Version 1.0 was released April 15, 2004.
